A Faded Hope: A Poem

Hope — trapped in a world full of chaos
It seems futile, vain, and unavailing to try to hold on to something so fragile
The smile fades and the world goes dark
The sun has dimmed and the moon has faded
The walls surrounding have seemed to cave in
But not all is lost
There is a light
So little and precious, but it can break free
A kind word or gentle touch can melt event the coldest of souls
Hope is found in a world full of chaos
It’s found in places least expected
The shinning brightness will be found if only one can see past the chaos
